Radio Beth Gazo 1.0

Radio Beth Gazo is a non-profit radio channel accessible via Facebook, the official website www.radiobethgazo.com, and the "Radio Beth Gazo" app. The initiative was established by dedicated members of the Syriac Orthodox Church with the aim of sharing the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Church with its followers and congregation through sacred hymns and spoken word.

The name "Radio Beth Gazo" is inspired by the historical reference book Beth Gazo, which is considered a pivotal compilation of Syriac Orthodox Church music, encompassing a collection of hymns and melodies.

Beth Gazo translates from Syriac to English as "House of Treasures." The Syriac liturgical service, known as Holy Qurbono, meaning "Eucharist", is traditionally observed on Sundays and during significant ceremonies. The Eucharistic celebration features Gospel and Bible readings, prayers, and an array of sacred songs. Most prayers are melodically chanted, with a vast repertoire of hundreds of cherished melodies preserved within Beth Gazo.
